St. Paul’s High School
We were commissioned by Interior Designer, Ben Wasylyshen to bring his designs to life in glass for the entry way to the court yard at St. Paul’s High School. Ben has designed a total of 9 windows for the school’s central courtyard entryway. Together we have built and installed 5 of those windows over the past 3 years and have just finished installing windows 6 and 7.
Ben provided us with a scale drawing for each window, which we then turned into a full size working pattern and together we selected over 40 types of glass for the project. Ben then added hand painted details which we kiln fired for permanency. The glass was then assembled with 5 different sizes of lead came which adds subtle changes in line weight throughout the design. We love how this project is taking shape and look forward to working with Ben again next this year on the final 2 windows!
