St. Matthews Anglican Church

Religious Project | Leaded/ Stained Glass

We were commissioned to remove over 30 stained glass windows at St. Matthews Anglican Church when they decided to repurpose their sanctuary area to become low income housing units. Most of the stained glass windows were then sold off to the public and other churches. The church did keep a handful of windows to be incorporated into their new sanctuary, the main window that was retained was this large alter window depicting Jesus. We made structural repairs to the window and designed a custom steel frame to support the window and also house an ultra low profile LED light panel for backlighting this piece. We then installed the window back into the newly revamped Sanctuary.
